1. Who we are

SnApptotrade is a mobile application operated by Cartotrade Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 09062418. Our registered address is Amelia House, Crescent Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 1QR.

These terms govern your use of the SnApptotrade app and this website. For our data protection practices, see our Privacy & Security policy.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnApptotrade, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — see Section 12.

3. The service

SnApptotrade provides vehicle intelligence lookups (valuation, specification, MOT and history data) sourced from third-party providers including Solera, DVSA, DVLA, and Cazana, for use by Cartotrade members and their customers. The app is provided free of charge with optional paid subscription tiers offering extended features.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at snappsupport@cartotrade.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, in accordance with the payment terms of the store you purchased through. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.

• Manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we cannot process cancellations directly.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies; we do not issue refunds directly for store purchases.
• Prices may change with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price for your next billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to look up vehicle data you are not authorised to access.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the app or its underlying APIs.
• Interfere with the app's operation or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
• Resell or redistribute lookup results to third parties outside the scope of your Cartotrade membership.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section — see Section 11.

7. Vehicle data & third-party sources

Vehicle valuations, specifications, and history data are supplied by third-party providers and are provided for guidance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of this data, and it should not be relied upon as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, or valuation decision.

8. Intellectual property

The SnApptotrade app, this website, and all associated branding, design, and content are owned by Cartotrade Ltd or its licensors and protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the app or site without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be compatible with your device or free from defects.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartotrade Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss arising from reliance on third-party vehicle data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see our Right to erasure section for the process). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified within the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
